One foot in the shower

Pausing because it’s too hot

Imagine how much easier life would be

If we gave into the things we fought

I’m in love with dreaming 

I’m in love with the thoughts in my head 

I’m equally in love with being awake as I am with being in bed 

I was gonna be solid 

But I told myself “Be like water”

Now I just flow around you 

My stream will flow much farther

It’s one of the thoughts that’s recently been in my head 

I grow a little bit better every day 

I take prescriptions to make sure this feeling is here to stay

If life is but a dream
