I went skiing with my dad yesterday and saw him for the first time since moving out to Utah. We haven’t been on great terms because I acted like a dick and sent him a nasty letter on Christmas. My dad had my number blocked and originally wasn’t even planning on seeing me when he came out.
We skied Alta yesterday and are currently waiting for an uber to Deer Valley, it’s been nice to see him and although I’ve been putting aside my homework I’m glad we’re getting to spend time together.
It’s another bluebird day and I can’t wait to lay over some beautiful turns on nicely laid corduroy. Skiing alone is fun but skiing is better with good company. Today’s update will be short (partly because I’m now in the Uber and about to arrive) but I’m going to leave you with a song, hopefully the clouds part wherever you are and the sun kisses your cheeks.
